Greenville County is upgrading its stormwater program. From higher water quality standards to a more streamlined administrative structure, several changes are right around the corner. This one-day event, offered by Greenville County and Upstate Forever, is your best opportunity to learn what's in store and how to prepare to work effectively within the County's new requirements.

Lake Conestee Operation Clean Sweep

Staff, members and volunteers of the Conestee Foundation, Friends of the Reedy River, Saluda Reedy Watershed Consortium, South Carolina Water Resources Center, and Upstate Forever gathered to help clean-up the historic 145-acre Lake Conestee, just south of Greenville.

Watershed Educational Display

The display, developed in partnership with Envision, made the rounds at festivals and events throughout the watershed. This colorful piece of the Saluda-Reedy Watershed Consortium's public-outreach and educational campaign is an educational display about how individuals and local actions can help protect our local rivers and lakes.
If you would like more information about having the display at an event or location, please contact Upstate Forever.
Our Educational Watershed Display was moved around to various locations in South Carolina to help spread the word about water quality.

Rain Gardens 101

About 45 people spent the day learning about the Conestee Nature Park project and a history of the lake before hiking on several miles worth of newly created trails through the property.
